My Protein Protein-Packed Product Review

If I can take something positive out of 2020, it's that as a family we have made changes to look after ourselves a lot more. We haven't made massive changes but the little ones we have, they've made a massive difference.

Our family consists of myself and my wife Simone, my just turned 15-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter.

I have always been an on and off the gym type of person. One month I'm all for it but then the next month I just can not be bothered at all. I think a lot of this is down to my diet and energy levels to be honest - when I'm at the gym I love it but it's that actually getting to the gym I struggle with.
And then there are the aches and pains I suffer from the few days after I actually get to the gym - something I put down to me being the ripe old age of 38, oh this and the fact that my diet is really poor, I know I definitely needed to make some changes and get some more goodness into my system.

My son is 15 and plays rugby - he is coming to the age where the games he plays are becoming really physical so - before lockdown hit - he had been going to the gym, not only to stay fit but also to improve his physical strength.
It was such a shame when the gyms closed because he had been putting in so much effort and had really started to notice improvements.

When the first lockdown was announced, was it back in March? It's been a long year...
The gyms closing was a real kick in the backside for both me and my son to get organised at home because we both had been going to the gym quite regularly and had a good routine in place and we really didn't want to lose all of our progress.

We had to decide what to do next - we didn't have much exercise equipment in the house and definitely have a lack of space (and cash!) to own our own things - especially when the prices of equipment - even second-hand equipment - rose by a lot, even on Facebook selling sites.
Luckily a family member offered us a bar and some free weights and we managed to get some dumbells and resistance bands really cheap - it wasn't much but just enough for us to get some sort of workouts done.

Anyway, as I said my diet just wasn't right, especially with what I wanted to achieve, so my wife - who already uses My Protein for a few products and supplements to help her with her workouts - asked me if I wanted her to order some products to help me and my son to feel physically better in ourselves, to get us motivated and to help us recover faster post-workout, allowing us to be better set to try our best at our new home-workout routine.
And with me been furloughed I had plenty of time on my hands and - most importantly diet wise - I couldn't be tempted to eat rubbish food throughout the day...Greggs is my downfall.

In all, I think I was on furlough for two months and myself and my son did about five workouts in the garden each week.
We made a makeshift bench from a hop-up I had in my van and we mixed the workouts up and always made sure we had our multi-vitamins and cod liver oil in the morning and we would end our workouts with a nice protein shake.

We were quite lucky really that we had some really nice weather but those home workouts weren't a patch on the gym workouts we were used to doing - we were made up when the gyms finally reopened - and my son was over the moon when his rugby team started training again.
He was fit and feeling strong due to his "I WILL do this" lockdown attitude, which gave his confidence a massive boost.

And I wasn't feeling too bad myself either which was a first for a long time but we both definitely wanted to up our protein intake through the day and not just have protein in our shakes or main meals. A few weeks later I had a rather nice email arrive in my inbox from no other than My Protein themselves asking if I was interested in checking out and reviewing some of the new protein bars which had just dropped and some of their other products...!

Like I said above, we have used a fair few My Protein products in the past (and present!) so having the chance to work with them on my blog is a dream come true.

So let's get to the bit you have all been waiting for ...the products...

First up...

My Protein has combined two of their most loved treats - cookies, and brownies - into one single high protein snack.

Before I tasted these I knew they were going to be amazing...white chocolate, marshmallow, a cookie dough base, a brownie style protein dough topped with a low sugar caramel coating!...how was I not going to like these!?

All of these in a protein bar seems a tad wrong doesn't it, but let me tell you it's really so right.
The flavour, the texture both make it seem like you are treating yourself to a real "naughty" snack,
Some protein bars I have had in the past have been a little dry and stodgy - not these though, not at all - 14G of lovely tasting protein - you're definitely on to a winner.

Actually, the only issue I had with these was that my son loved them as much as I did so they didn't last too long.

The next product was another bar - this one is the My Protein Whipped Duo Chocolate Fudge.

Even though these are my least favourite of the two that I reviewed they are still a really flavoursome packed bar.
This one has 11 grams of protein per bar and the chocolate-fudge combo is a definite winner, it has a super-soft texture which almost melts in your mouth too.

I found this bar perfect for me straight after my dinner at work when I would normally want to eat something sweet - they really helped with my sweet tooth cravings throughout the day in the work van.

It's 100% a treat without the cheat!

The third product was something I could certainly start my day with.
For many years now breakfast has been my biggest downfall - I'm always in such a rush in the morning and end up just grabbing something from a fast-food place on the way to my first job - usually a Greggs or a McDonalds's.
I mean, yes they taste great but I would instantly regret it an hour or so later.

I have tried meal replacement shakes in the past - they were great for weight-loss but I would start to get really hungry an hour or so after one which just leads to me eat something I wasn't meant to be having - totally defeating the object of having a meal replacement diet on the go.

The My Protein Protein Pancake Mix pancakes were a dream for me - I'm a massive pancake fan and must admit I do make a great pancake (my Yorkshire puddings are famous in Bradford ;) )

Me and my son have both had these pancakes for breakfast a fair few times now and both of us are really impressed with them - the blend of high-quality protein from the milk and egg, the cookie and cream flavour is really good and the ease of simply adding milk, giving them a quick whisk and sticking them into a frying pan takes just minutes.
I mean even my lazy morning self manages to get it done.
I like my pancakes quite thick and fluffy - with added strawberry and blueberries - and these honestly do make a great, slow-digesting, fast breakfast - perfect for my lifestyle.

The pancakes come in nine amazing flavours too and we can not wait to try out the chocolate and cinnamon, and sugar ones - they both do sound amazing.

And then (yes, there's more!) last but not least on the menu is something I've never tried before and have only used a couple of times - I wanted to use the full course but with the gyms closing tfor the second time I didn't manage to finish the course as I thought there wasn't much point with my lack of exercising being forced again (no furlough this time, so day time, home workouts were out of the window)
I'm not sure if I could get the best out of them doing my home workouts either really.

I wish I could tell you more about them but I just hope when things go back to normal I can get the most out of them again and can let you guys know what I thought of them properly.

The Thermo-X contain My Protein's ultimate weight-loss formula of essential vitamins and minerals.
They consist of all-natural plant extracts which all help you really focus your weight-loss goals.

For me, well I wasn't trying to lose a mega amount of weight but I was using them to give me that extra boost when training and to help with endurance.

As a family we have really enjoyed the products and the extra protein we are getting is such a bonus - especially when everything tastes so good.
We will carry on ordering our usual supplements and powders from My Protein but may now throw a few new items into the basket to try every now and again too - and knowing they always have some sort of deal on, well it's great.

Do you use My Protein products? If so, what are your favourites?

Don't Feel Ashamed Of Your Classic Masculinity

Recent controversies on Twitter aimed at Harry Styles and his gender-curious fashion sense have hit the headlines in recent days, and for an interesting reason. It seems as though the discourse surrounding what ‘masculinity’ actually is has become blurred. Some still hold onto it as the bloody-and-roaring ambition of the Vikings and in the hard-won, rugged, natural adventuring of our ancestors - to use a couple of intense examples.

Others say masculinity is something every man defines for himself, and they are nearer to the truth. Harry Styles may wear dresses, for instance, but he is certainly no less of a powerful figure for it, and would likely outdo many of us in the romance department thanks to his charm. That said, you can defend Harry Styles, and new forms or interpretations of masculinity taking form, and also STILL pay respect to how masculinity was and has been classically viewed in the past. In other words, you can see the late Sean Connery and Harry Styles as men worthy of respect. However, it does seem that an overcorrection has taken place, and classic masculinity, of the type you may see in classic issues of GQ, is in disrepute.

If that’s the kind of masculinity that works for you, that’s fine, too. There’s no need to feel ashamed of being wherever you are in the spectrum. In fact, for lack of trending articles popularizing that concept now - let’s consider what ‘classic’ may mean in 2020.

A Flash Of Nobility & Class

A worthwhile flash of nobility and class is worth investing in from time to time. You might find that spending time behind the wheel of an Aston Martin Vantage not only grants you access to a beautiful and highly practical car, but also that your feeling of occupying a James Bond role, and all of the cultural sharpness that emphasizes, can be a great deal of fun. Who said that classic teenage fantasies shouldn’t be answered? If you can focus on something like this, be it a rented, financed, or purchased option or experience, you’ll no doubt enjoy that flash of nobility and class you’re looking for. No matter if you find it through a track day or in a fine dining restaurant, it’s nice to feel how a little refinement can be from time to time.

A Sense Of Rugged Adventure

A sense of rugged adventure is also quite worthwhile. You can find this by traveling, or by exploring an area that you may not be familiar with. Spending time in a European town, solo-traveling, or spelunking with friends can be a great means of finding your adventuring spirit, which may have gone unused for some time. A sense of rugged adventure not only helps you feel more active and engaged but, through osmosis, you will begin to inspire your peers in the same breath.

Taking The Lead & Feeling Strong

You don’t have to feel like you’re ‘taking the lead’ to be masculine, but it can be nice to flex some of your leadership and willingness to define your terms from time to time. This might involve organizing an impromptu night with your partner, completely surprising them. It might mean taking the first step in having that difficult discussion with a friend. It could simply mean deciding not to take your excuses as gospel anymore, and going for that morning run. You’d feel infinitely better, no doubt. So - no matter how your masculinity is defined, don’t be afraid to explore it, even if it does harp back to our classic understanding of this quite powerful mode of living.

With this advice, we hope you can reconnect or re-express your classic masculinity, without shame, should you wish to.

Eye Health Is Important, But So Is Style

In recent years, we all tend to choose glasses based on fashion and not what suits us! If you are wondering if it is correct our answer is no. Clearly fashion also plays an important role and is a huge influence for all of us without this meaning that we must always follow it literally! Men, just like women, do need to style what they wear to some extent. If you know a specific colour looks bad on you, then surely you will want to ensure it never crosses your closet. But when we put aside the fashion, it is also the practicality of a pair of glasses that may help us decide. Whilst we should not feel ashamed or unhappy wearing glasses, it may just be that you want a pair that is so dainty and unnoticeable that you need a little help finding the right ones for you. Let’s see the types of glasses that may suit different types of men depending on their needs and careers.

For the practical man

For you who are more interested in practicality and less in fashion, this particular glass is what you are looking for! If you belong to the category of men who move a lot during the day and do not want their glasses to slip or have any special weight, a pair of glasses that is sturdy and strong will be the best option.

For the fashion conscious man

This category differs greatly from the above and we will explain it to you immediately. Most men may be looking for the simplest way to get rid of clutter but on the other hand there is the category of men who are looking for it too much in fashion in order to stand out. These glasses come in different versions whether it has to do with color or design and are definitely not for everyone.

So what style suits you best? Men's eyeglasses come out, like women's, in dozens of designs and styles. The modern man who wears glasses has to choose exactly what suits his personality and highlights the shape of his face in the best way. Fashion trends are constantly updated and offer new challenges to those who know how to dare and look for something more. So, we have gathered for you the 6 most important trends in men's eyeglasses, which you must know if you want to be in fashion. Thankfully, there are thousands of options.

Retro round glasses

Retro is everywhere and of course could not be missing from the glasses. In a round shape reminiscent of the '70s, a classic choice is the thin metal frame in dark gold or for the more modern in rose gold. If you want to impress, choose a bone skeleton in a tortoiseshell.

If you like retro, but you are looking for something more sporty and less sophisticated than round glasses, then we remind you aviators, which are not just for sunglasses and certainly not just for those working in the US military. They fit all face shapes and take us straight to the '70s and' 80s.

Minimal triangular glasses

Another trend that we see in various fields is the minimal, which is ideal for all styles and is worn both with the formal suit and tie as well as with the most everyday outfit. The triangular glasses with a thin metal frame are the hottest currently available in men's eyeglasses and are aimed at men who can support something different.

Without frame

If you constantly wear your glasses and the idea of having many couples to take turns does not cross your mind, then it is better to invest in a simple and discreet couple that will not catch everyone's eye by stealing the show from the rest of the person. Glasses with frames only on the side and frameless lenses are great for men who prefer the sweet and simple style.

Glasses with a special frame

An original choice for fashionistas are the men's eyeglasses with a separate frame in bright colors, thick lines and unexpected designs, such as the square. An intermediate solution is the large round glasses with thick bone or plastic frame in black color.

Transparent frame

We kept the best for last, since the transparent frame combines the advantages of all the above trends. On the one hand, it is something special and innovative that emphasizes your special style and on the other hand, it does not force you to make a very eccentric choice, since it stays on quiet paths and catches the eye, only if you want it, if for example you choose one fancy design.

Why should you look after your eyes?

Above fashion will always come health. For many, we neglect our eyes and for some reading this article, they may not even realise that their eyesight is declining. From computer screens to general wear and tear, our eyes do fail a little. But that’s OK. Glasses are there to help. That’s why it’s important for everyone to always have their eyes tested at least once a year. For some bonus tips, here are some great ways to improve your eyes and keep them working longer.

Some are obvious and we just do not observe them as we should, while others are more unexpected. However, the protection of our eyesight and eyes is essential and we should take care of it in winter and summer.

Wear sunglasses all year round

Ultraviolet radiation can literally burn your eyes just as it can cause skin burns. Symptoms of overexposure include redness, itching and a foreign body sensation in the eye. Usually these symptoms do not last long, but experts have found that long-term exposure to infrared radiation can cause serious problems such as cataracts and permanent damage to the retina. According to the American Optometric Association, it is recommended to wear sunglasses that block UVA and UVB radiation all year round and have gray lenses for better color recognition.

Add more carotenoids to your diet

Carrots are really good for the eyes! The reason is that carrots contain the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, which are naturally found in the eyes and which can help prevent cataracts and macular degeneration. Dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, broccoli and kale are also rich in carotenoids.

Pay attention to hobbies and household chores

What do certain hobbies have in common with certain household chores? Both can be a major threat to your eyes. More than one million Americans have eye accidents each year, 90% of which could have been avoided by wearing goggles. Household chores that are dangerous to your eyesight include the use of chlorine cleaners and the combination of two or more cleaning products.

Moderate computer use

Many employees spend countless hours looking at a computer screen. In this case beware: you may be at risk for developing computer vision syndrome (CVS). Symptoms include visual fatigue, headaches, blurred vision and dry eyes. CVS usually subsides when you move away from the screen, but be careful: make sure the center of your computer screen is 10-12 cm below eye level and 50-70 cm away from your eyes. your. Adjust the brightness of the screen so that it does not bother you and be informed about your options in the special protective filters. Finally, try to open and close your eyes regularly and rest for 15 minutes every two hours of computer use.

Drink plenty of water

You know that you have to drink a lot of fluids when it is hot, but the same goes for the winter months, especially when it comes to your eye health. As ophthalmologist Trennda L. Rittenbach, OD, a member of the American Optometric Association, points out, “in winter we forget the importance of hydrating the body. By drinking a lot of water we help, among other things, to maintain moisture in the eyes and consequently reduce any discomfort.”

The best foods to eat

Although the health of our eyes depends on many factors, most notably our genes, our diet plays an important role in its protection. Thus, vitamins A, C, and E, omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, beta carotene and zinc should not be missing from our diet if our goal is to protect and enhance our vision. In fact, we can easily include these nutrients in our daily diet by consuming the following foods.

Carrots: Vitamin A plays a crucial role in the proper functioning of vision and in the prevention of ocular disorders, such as the dry eye. The carotenoids found in carrots are converted in the body to vitamin A, preventing the degeneration of eye cells and reducing the chances of cataracts.

Fatty fish: Fish and especially salmon work well for eye health. Salmon and fatty fish have omega-3 fatty acids, which are good fats that contribute to vision development and retinal health and can also help prevent dry eyes. When buying salmon, prefer wild instead of farmed salmon, as it is even more nutritious.

How Games Provide Clarity For Our Minds

Remember those Japanese games like Sudoku found in our early electronics and in those doctors’ office magazines? You had to "match" the pairs of cards with the ideograms, after first looking at them for a few seconds before closing? So many games improve our memories and can have massive cognitive benefits.

Games are often condemned by various circles, the media, and parents as a distraction for children from important tasks and as a "waste" of valuable time that can be spent on reading.

But in reality, all games of all categories can be therapeutic and help develop a child's skills and more specifically strategy games such as the classic Chess, Mahjong or even strategy video games with fewer elements that lead to problem-solving. In a special tribute that follows we show you how strategy games help to improve a person's memory and develop problem-solving. Good performance in strategy games requires one to have the ability to see (and sometimes hear) to assess the state of the game and to find creative ways to solve problematic situations. Players who are used to being good at it apply the same levels of attention at school, at work, and in personal situations. They also remember more things than average. The truth is, they can be more than just a hobby.

Strategy games require patience and willingness on the part of players to consider and judge ways to achieve the best possible result, something that also applies to everyday life in real situations. A large part of strategy games is the execution of actions and decision-making within a framework with rules and procedures, which is also very useful for the daily life and the future of a person as in a work environment.

Some games to try!

The BrainMetrix.com Memory Test: It may seem simplistic at first, but try to pass the 5th level and we will do it again. What invites you to do the (simple in design, the truth is) Memory Test is to see which boxes change color, and click on them in the same order when it's your turn. Before the test begins, there is an interesting text with various tactics to improve your memory (for example, remember numbers instead of shapes or assign objects to an arrangement you have in mind, such as furniture in your living room).

The Lightning Librarian: Lydia is a librarian, and she needs your help to quickly find the books that the children who visit the library ask for. In front of it there are fifteen shelves with books of different categories, which stand out with a symbol. The problem, now, is that you can only see the symbols for a few seconds, until the little ones start coming - who, as we know, are the most demanding customers. Each child asks for a different category of book, which you need to remember on which shelf it is. The librarian moves with the arrow keys, and with space, she lowers the book.

You may want to look at wonga games for more choices.

Designer Clothes Without High Prices? Count Yourself In

Is it possible to shop for designer clothes and accessories without busting your bank account? Well, it all depends on where you look. During the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone has become more financially conscious; whether you lost your job, entered into a furlough scheme, kept your job from home or somewhere in between, it has been a tough year for everyone. During quarantine, everyone slouched around their houses in their pajamas, with no need for fancy clothes or expensive watches. But now the world is re-opening. Can you keep up?

In the intersection between financial responsibility and buying luxury items lies a compromise. No, you can’t afford for every single item of clothing you buy to be Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren. But you don’t also have to live that Target clothing life either. There’s a middle ground between acting like Kanye West and living like a bargain hunter. So how can we achieve it?

Searching For Deals

Just like anything in life, there are gems to be found if you look hard enough. Designers will have you believe you should only be buying full-price items from the actual store, but this is simply untrue. For example, current Rolex prices from outlet stores and last season’s designs are much less hair-raising than an in-store price. That doesn’t mean the Rolex isn’t real, it just means you aren’t buying the latest edition of the watch. Simple.

The COVID-19 Effect

It isn’t only individuals who are having to tighten their purse strings this year. All around the world, companies are going into liquidation, suffering at the hands of this pandemic just like the rest of us. The companies who are clinging on for dear life are having to make sacrifices too - in the form of delicious deals for all of us. COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on all our lives, but the flip side of this crisis is that prices are beginning to drop. You could bag that pair of trainers you’ve been eyeing up all year after all!

Returning To Work

We all became pretty accustomed to working at home this year, so now that some offices are reopening, it can come as a shock to the system. If you are returning to your old normality, you might be nervous about maintaining a good impression after not having seen your colleagues and bosses in some time. A statement piece such as a new pair of shoes, cufflinks, watch or bag could announce your re-entry into the workplace with a bang.

Similarly, job retention has never been more important than now. Everything you do should be memorable and impressive if you want to keep your hands on the role you currently have at work. Making a statement and taking work seriously means dressing like the man you want to be.

Although appearances aren’t everything, you can have your cake and eat it when it comes to looking sharp. All it takes is careful planning, some sneaky deal-finding, and dedication to looking sharp, even during a pandemic.

Learning During Lockdown With The Wine List - Tipsy Talk

Lockdown had many people trying out new things, the last thing I thought I would be doing is a wine tasting course in the comfort of our own home. The team at The Wine List reached out and asked if would like to try out their service. Spoiler alert – I am glad they reached out and so is my wife!

The Wine List is a subscription wine box whereby you get 2 bottles of wine, 2 interactive cards, and an introduction to a wine booklet. Not only to The Wine List offer a subscription service, but it also acts as a wine course teaching you how to enjoy wine. I have to be honest here; I have never tried a wine that I enjoyed. However, there is a vast variety of grapes and wine types so I was probably always choosing the wrong one.

The box arrived, I was worried about opening it, and there had just been a mass of glass along with a faint whiff of wine. The subscription box arrived extremely well packaged in 2 perfectly sized bottle packs. We received a Casa Castillo Monastrell 2017 (Red) and a Bico De Ran 2018 (White). We ordered copious amounts of local cheeses to go with wines, Luckily I chose the right cheese otherwise the pairing could have gone wrong!

The first thing I did was read my way through the introduction to wine, as advised previously it isn’t something I have ever had any interest in so I thought I best start here. The introduction takes you through the four parts, Look, Taste, Smell, and Think. Each topic is covered on a page so it isn’t overwhelming or complex for first-timers. It’s extremely descriptive and really helps you understand the wine you are about to devour.

The 2 interactive cards are such a good idea, especially for a wine amateur! On one side of the card, it gives you a full rundown on the wine. This includes food pairing, type of grapes, and region along with a good bit of trivia. This really helps us understand the wine before tasting it, After all, you don’t want to pair it with the wrong dish! On the flip side of the card, you have what I can only describe as a review sheet. It provides you with the scales used to judge the characteristics of the wine along with space to make any notes. There is also a space for a verdict. Although I am not a seasoned wine drinker this does help create a profile of the wine. The cards can also be kept as a reminder of what you have tried and enjoyed.

I can honestly say I have never enjoyed wine, I can also honestly say I am still more of a craft beer fan. However, this was an extremely enjoyable experience. My wife enjoys a glass of wine and loved the Bico De Ran.

I would highly recommend Wine List if you enjoy a glass, equally if you would like a home-based wine experience it really makes a great night in. Not only that if you are stuck for a present for a wine lover then it would honestly make an amazing gift. My wife and I will definitely be trying out another box, it was great trying a wine you wouldn’t buy.

Thank you for reading and if you would like a cheeky discount use code FRIENDS and get learning yourself! It doesn't always have to be spreadsheets and numbers.

Herbalife Skincare Review

If one thing this lockdown as taught me, it is that I need to look after myself a lot more than I normally do. I used to have a great grooming routine but over the last year or so I've been quite busy with work. Meaning any sort of routine went out of the window.

So being in lockdown has given me that extra time to bring this routine right back and god I definitely feel the benefits. I look better and also feel loads better in myself.
And this is all down to the Herbalife Unisex Skincare Products I have been using.

If you have visited my blog before you may have seen that I have worked with Herbalife before, if not then please check out my post here. Also, don't be too quick to judge we have found they have some great products when used correctly.

Like I said my skincare routine was totally out of the window and, to be honest, my skin was starting to look quite old... well I am 37 now but I have always had quite good skin. Don't get me wrong I'm not Mr wrinkle yet but I do have a good few lines starting to appear. Not to mention the morning eye bags are coming along quite nicely.

I feel a lot more confident, I started posting a few more selfies and my wife as mentioned a few times that my skin is looking a lot better, which is always nice to hear.

We've reviewed quite a lot of skincare products on the blog and we have found some really good and some mediocre. I can honestly say I think I have found my favourite products within the Herbalife range. I'm really happy that I can let you guys know what I think.

I was sent quite a few different products and I have used them all but there was a certain few which blew me away and they were that good that my wife and 14-year old son started using them too. This was a bit of a pain because they soon disappeared.

The first product I would like to tell you about is the Instant Reval Berry scrub. This is by far the best face scrub I have ever used, from the texture when rubbing it into your skin to the feel afterwards and the fragrance, it has it all. The antioxidant-rich scrub is fantastic, the berry seeds which are used for exfoliation smell amazing. To be honest, it's a pleasure to wash my face and I actually can not wait to use it, you definitely have the instant refreshing feeling afterwards.
  • Fresh and fruity fragrance enlivens the senses.
  • Suitable for all skin types.
  • No added parabens. Sulphate-free.
  • Dermatologist tested.
Next up is a product I use every 3 days just after the berry scrub and it's the Soothing Aloe Cleanser. Once again another refreshing product which leaves my face feeling super clean and really soft. My skin is normally quite tough and dry so I think the aloe vera really leaves it feeling soft and moisturised. When I first started using this product I think I overdid it with the amount I used! I ended spending a lot of time rinsing it off because it lathers really well. It's another product which is a pleasure to use and look forward to using.

  • Aloe vera-based cleanser with a fresh and gentle scent. Perfect for normal to dry skin.
  • Silky, soft lather gently removes excess oil, dirt and light makeup from the skin without irritation.
  • Aloe vera softens and moisturises the skin.
  • No added parabens. Sulphate-free.
  • Dermatologist tested.

Like I said above my skin is normally quite dry and I've noticed more since I shaved the beard off. More face was visible and it was clear I needed to moisturise more. This is where the daily glow moisturiser came in, It's an all-purpose hydrating lotion with illuminating properties which will give your face a nice glow. I noticed results using this product within about 5 days, I used it after my morning wash... which was normally around lunchtime when I finally got up and then I added a little bit later in the evening. I think I really helped to smooth out the smaller lines in my skin which in turn made my skin look a little bit younger.
  • Helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in just 7 days.*
  • Clinically tested to show that skin looks more glowing and feels softer and smoother in just seven days.**
  • Clinically shown to double skin’s moisture for eight hours.***
  • No added parabens. Dermatologist tested.

I think the mix of the berry scrub, cleanser and then the moisturiser have worked wonders for me, they have brought life to my skin again and I still haven't used the night replenishing cream! Not that I can either! Because as soon as it arrived my wife took it and said she's having that! Having said that, she only has nice things to say I about it and uses it as her go-to night time moisturiser.

This is the first unisex skincare product I've used and will carry on using. It also seems like a family favourite. I've had no issues like outbreaks since using it! I honestly have nothing negative to say and I hope all the stigma around Herbalife doesn't put people off trying out their products because they will not disappoint.

The products were gifted in return for our honest review
