At Home With The Marshall CODE 25 Amp

At Ablokeseyeview we love to see tech advancing and changing, so it was great to check out the Marshall CODE series Amp. It's your standard guitar amp but with a whole load of tech thrown in.

The design of the amp is really sleek, it has a simple black box design with the classic Marshall logo on the front. On the top of the amp is where all of the controls, inputs/outputs, and the on/off switch are located. The controls are on a sunk bronze panel, more information on these controls can be found in the full specification below.

The Code 25 has an epic sound for a compact amp, it is great for use in small spaces and practice at home. We have never had this amp anywhere near the highest volume and it still sounds epic. Code 25 has 24 built-in effects along and it has up to 100 presets in total. This gives you a massive range of effects to play around with and customize. This is great if you have limited space for pedals or want a more portable all-in-one system.

One of the specs that really stood out on this amp is the Bluetooth connectivity. From the speaker side, there are so many possibilities, you can download tracks to play along to, you could even download backing tracks or you can just simply use it as a speaker. It also allows you to connect to the Marshall Gateway App, where you can control the amps settings. The Marshall Gateway App is really responsive and allows easy switching between effects. There is a whole load of options available which give you the ability to get the sound you are looking for. Also, inbuilt into the app is a tuner, I was skeptical about this at first but it is really easy to use and caters to nonstandard tuning.

For anyone interested in the full specification of this amp please see below, It's by no means at the top end of the spectrum. However, if you are looking for a good quality amp that sounds great on a budget then we recommend this one.
